Welcome to the Church of the Redeemer. We are delighted that you stopped in for a visit. This website gives you an opportunity to peek behind the scenes and discover more about the Christian community that gathers at the corner of Avenue Road and Bloor Street in downtown Toronto.
We are a community on the move. We offer hospitality to all people. We seek to serve the needs of the seasoned pilgrim, the sojourner and seeker. We strive to feed the poor and to stand with those in our society who have little to no voice. We nurture our children, support our teens and glean wisdom from our elderly. We are a diverse community that makes room for all people. Whatever the project or endeavour, we steep our ministry in scripture, prayer, sacrament and song.
We invite you to explore this website. We offer you a little taste of our worship, prayer life, programs and community. You may surf the pages at your leisure, sign up for programs, keep in touch by eNews, become a member or friend of the ministry at the corner.
Thank you for dropping in. Enjoy!
