Theology Today
For more than a decade Stephen Reynolds played an important role in the life of the Redeemer community. Sadly Stephen died on March 12, 2011.
Stephen was a gifted preacher and teacher. Whether from the pulpit or at an adult learning event, he combined solid content with dry wit. He was a deep thinker, read voraciously and loved theology. He welcomed our questions and for years provided thoughtful and extensive answers in "Holy Mysteries", a column in our newsletter. We have compiled several examples which illustrate the wide range of topics Stephen tackled on our behalf.
Stephen loved teaching, and we enjoyed many courses he offered us covering everything from Original Sin to Saints. He was also passionate about movies and every Lent for six years hosted a Faith on Film series. We keep an archive, remembering with gratitude the knowledge he shared with us.
